WORLD ROMA ISRAEL MANDATE
An international movement of Roma who affirm their Israelite, Hebrew and Biblical heritage, and who are building a dignified voice for their communities.

The World Roma Israel Mandate is an international initiative uniting Roma families, elders and young people who affirm their Israelite heritage. We are not a political party and not a church — we are a community of identity, memory and mutual support, open to every Roma person who recognises these roots in themselves.

The Mandate grew out of years of conversations in Roma communities across Europe — around family tables, in prayer houses and at community gatherings — where the same conviction kept returning: our people carry an Israelite inheritance that has never been named publicly with the dignity it deserves. That conviction became an organised, international mandate.

We maintain the World Roma Israel Register, a private and voluntary record of those who affirm this heritage. We build regional representation on every inhabited continent, publish our declaration and our research, and prepare the 2030 World Congress of Israelite Roma.

Everything we do rests on three commitments: dignity — no member is ever exposed or used for anyone else's agenda; transparency — our aims, records and consent practices are written down and open to our members; and belonging — decisions are shaped by representatives from the communities themselves, not imposed from outside.

We welcome dialogue with Roma organisations, community leaders, researchers and friends of Israel who wish to walk this path alongside us.
Everyone who affirms this heritage is welcome. Creating an account takes a minute; joining the Register is a separate, voluntary step.
